If you run into trouble or have a question that is **not** covered by the
documentation, please use one of the following channels:

**Note**: I can point you to the right documentation, clarify
platform‑specific behaviour, and even help with general question of python,
python management, or general coding. That said, this is an informal offer as
my bandwidth is limited.

## Chat rooms

Two public channel are available to ask questions either about sciserver in
general, or python-related questions (environments, code versioning, etc):

For MPE users: you already have an account and can use the web-based client
element at <https://chat.mpe.mpg.de>. For other users you will need any matrix
account. You may already have access to a matrix account via
[Academic Cloud](https://docs.chat.academiccloud.de/en/first-steps/index.html),
if not, any matrix account will do.
